| 2. Candidates screening |
| This is the most basic step of recruitment...and one of the most important. Hire Options carefully evaluates prospective candidates, asking fundamental questions. Does someone have the right basic skill level and experience to fit the position? Hire Options calls appropriate candidates to assess their interest level and skill set before bringing them in for an interview. |
| 3. Interview candidates |
Hire Options conducts an in depth interview, either in person and/or over the phone, to determine candidates enthusiasm, background, salary requirements and suitability. Click here for guidelines for conducting effective interviews. |
| 4. Reference checks |
| We conduct reference checks and, as appropriate, can conduct background checks on all job candidates. |
| 5. Candidate summaries |
| When a candidate passes the above steps, the client is provided with the candidate’s resume, copies of our complete (unfiltered) reference check forms, and a candidate summary, based on our interview. This summary typically includes our evaluation of the candidate's strengths, weaknesses, and salary expectations. |
| 6. Client follow-up |
| After each interview we follow up with the client to review the candidate. This provides us the opportunity to discuss any further questions, and learn more about candidate qualities each client prefers. |
